Inserting Bullets in Excel 2007 cells using ALT + 0149
Monday, March 09th, 2009 | Author: WallaceWord
- Click on the Insert ribbon
- Click on Symbol
- Find the bullet with character code 149. Character code is listed at the bottom of the dialog box
- Click on Insert and then close dialog
- Once you have done this, you will be able to use ALT + 0149 to insert bullets into your Excel 2007 spreadsheet cells.
- The ALT button will still pull up the shortcut keys — you will need to hit the ALT button twice.
- Once you have used the Symbol button to insert the bullet, you will be able to just use the ALT + 0149 to insert bullets in your other spreadsheets. You will not have to keep going to the Symbol button to insert a bullet in your spreadsheet.

Dear Sir,
I followed the similar process for inserting bullets in my excel 2007. The problem come with the character code of bullet. It shows 2022 instead of 149.
I am unable to use shortcut ALT + 0149 also.
Seeking your help,

Quick question to answer your question :-)
Did you use the Symbol button first before trying the ALT + 0149?
